Paul Nixon, author of “I Refuse To Lead A Dying  Church”   to lead a workshop

The North Dakota Conference of Churches is  excited to announce that Paul Nixon the Author of “I Refuse To Lead A Dying Church” and  more recently “Finding Jesus on the Metro” will be leading a workshop in North Dakota March 22 and 23 of 2010.  This workshop will be open to  all clergy and lay who would like the opportunity to share in a special time with this visionary  pastor and author.  Rev. Nixon’s writings have challenged all of us to go beyond acceptance of  decline within our congregation, that can seem inevitable, to  the fullness of the ministry to which Our Redeemer  is calling us.   

The workshop will be held March 22 and 23 at the Quality Inn in Jamestown, ND (The Quality Inn is located South of I94.   Take Exit 258, Hwy 281, go South, the Quality Inn will be on the  East side of the road.) 

The schedule for the workshop is as follows;  Mar. 22, 8:00 am (ct) registration at the Quality Inn, 9:00 am (ct) program begins, Lunch break 12:00 Noon (lunch is on your own), 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm program with Paul Nixon, 6:00 pm (ct) Banquet at Quality Inn  (cost included in registration), 7:30 pm (ct) musical program featuring Chuck Suche.(cost included in registration)  March 23, program begins at 9:00 am  and concludes at 12:00.  The registration cost for this  event is $40.
